Concept Development

Together with our client we defined the basics of the destination and performed a thorough field and market analysis involving various stakeholders of the destination. Once the research phase was completed, the strengths determined and new potential uncovered, a new concept was defined focusing on five key pillars: sport, nature, culture and tradition, gastronomy and, above all else, sustainability. With those pillars as our base, we created a sustainable destination strategy for the next years and broke it down step-by-step into actionable plans and processes.

Brand Development

As part of the sustainable concept activation, we supported our client with defining a new brand identity that expresses the new and sustainable positioning.

How we did this was by searching for matching partners, supporting in the creation of the RFP, briefing the chosen agencies. And, in partnership with the array of wonderful partners, agencies, contributors, etc., we also helped in defining and creating the new, sustainable brand.

Sales + Marketing Support + Strategy

Since the beginning of the collaboration, we have supported our client with sales and marketing activities, such as setting up the social media channels. We have also consulted and supported with the development of the website by structuring the website, helping with decision making, and aligning all parties in bringing it all to life. With so many parties involved, and the inherent complexity of destinations, co-creation has been key and MAp's primary role has been to facilitate and provide direction for all who had a hand in making it happen.

Concept Development

MAp first performed an audit to better understand where the existing hotel stood and where MAp could take it together with Manuela and Renato, looking at the region, competitors, buyer personas, and more. We then developed a holistic and sustainable hotel concept rooted in tradition and warm hospitality. The objective was to create an inviting atmosphere with a touch of familiarity, making all feel welcome and at home. Additionally, to protect the valley and its nature, as well as contribute to the local community, by focusing on sustainability. With our sustainable and traditionally-rooted hotel concept in place, we then defined this special hotel’s clear positioning in the market as the perfect place for mountain lovers and adventurers; a place that combines pleasure, nature and sustainability, and outdoor adventures, in the breathtaking Valle Maira.

Sales + Marketing Strategy, Hotel Website Development

MAp performed an audit of Locanda Mistral’s existing sales and marketing channels to uncover new opportunities and opportunities for optimisation. We next defined the hotel’s sales and marketing strategies moving forward, and equipped the team with a sales and marketing manual consisting of user-friendly tools and actionable checklists. Our goal was to ensure all activities communicate the heart behind the hotel, as well as reach the nature- and culinary-lovers and outdoor enthusiasts for whom Locanda Mistral caters.

MAp also oversaw the revamp of the hotel’s website to reflect the new Locanda Mistral concept, developing the design, layout and programming.

We continue to provide ongoing support in the areas of concept implementation, positioning, sales and marketing.

Concept Development

MAp kicked off the project by getting to the heart of the Felderer family and what it was they envisioned for the next stage of their boutique hotel: a place of harmony, balance and conscious being. With that as our compass, we MApped out with them a stylish and innovative hotel concept that invites guests to experience a holiday for body, mind and soul. With that, we positioned the Felderer Boutiquehotel accordingly in the market.

Brand Creation, Brand Design, Brand Activation, Brand Implementation

With style as a cornerstone of the Felderer Boutiquehotel, it was important that we create a stylish boutique hotel brand too; a brand that reflects the character of the hotel and infuses a dose of soul. MAp created a corporate identity to match, focusing on soft colours, elegant fonts and aesthetically-focused brand elements.

To bring the boutique hotel brand to life, MAp designed and programmed the new hotel website, weaving in style and soul here too. Furthermore, we supported the Felderer family during the launch phase and implementation of the new boutique hotel concept and brand, by updating the sales and marketing mix, searching for interesting cooperations, defining new hotel sales and communication tools, and more.

Concept Development

First, MAp set out to understand what luxury meant for our clients and next defined what Haritha Villas + SPA stands for: Nature, Architecture, Health & Harmony and Luxury & Caring Service. Using this as our starting point, we co-created a boutique hotel concept centred on sophisticated elegance and redefined luxury – to be reflected in the intricate architecture (by GFAB Architects), chic design and exclusive experiences (think personal butler service). And importantly, we took into account the cultural, historical and culinary aspects of Sri Lanka to ensure the concept delivers the best of what the country has to offer.

MAp translated the concept into the hotel’s sales and marketing activities by providing strategic support and guidance. Additionally, MAp provided ongoing assistance to our clients during the launch phase.
