Member hotels are evaluated against eight sustainability criteria derived from the UN's 17 goals and the Global Sustainable Tourism Council's criteria. Honesty and transparency are the top priorities. The platform ensures a CO2-neutral booking process.
About Isabelle Winter
After a decade at PR agencies and start-ups in New York and Berlin, Isabelle returned to her hometown Munich where she headed the marketing communications department of Mandarin Oriental, Munich until she founded Select Green Hotels in in early 2021. The motivation behind it: to bring sustainable travel out of its niche, while giving accommodations a proper platform and showing travelers that green hotels are welcoming, cool, stylish and sometimes very luxurious.
